Supply Chain Manager - EMEA

 

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Manager - EMEA for Olam Spices in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. In collaboration with the account managers you will be responsible for the supply chain and customer operations in Rotterdam & Chennai. This department is responsible for all contract related aspects and needs to ensure these will be executed in an orderly fashion.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Regional Head of Sales, the main responsibilities of this role will include:
  • Lead and motivate the customer service team in executing their daily tasks
  • Further development of the customer service department, focusing on customer centricity and further digitalization
  • Further develop the supply chain department by installing- and or improving various processes and procedures
  • Initiating- and leading supply chain projects focused on improving efficiency in supply chain and optimization by implementation of technological solutions
  • Optimize inventory management, warehouse utilization, stock levels, inventory ageing etc. Responsible for- and ensuring that the different KPI’s are achieved
  • Leverage your interpersonal skills in building partnerships with colleagues across disciplines and locations

The candidate

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Minimum bachelor degree in the area of supply chain
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in supply chain, customer service, planning,
  • Proven experience in people management and development, motivating teams
  • Knowledge of ERP system, preferably SAP
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
